Wordsmith Wednesday!

welcome to this week’s edition of wordsmith wednesdays! [yeah. i know it's thursday. hush up.]

and what exactly is wordsmith wednesdays, you ask? it’s a chance for you to come up with a word that will, in turn, be put on to a loverly little recycled notebook.

what’s in it for you? the chance to be clever, snarky, witty, thoughtful, sweet, or funny. and if your word gets picked for the week, i will send you you’re very own copy. for free. as in, i’m giving it away.

there are no other rules. no other limitations. it could be holiday related, or not. it could be one word, or many. it could be made up, or real. it’s really up to you. and if you need some ideas to get you started, you can check out my flickr page or etsy shop.

the contest begins on wednesday of every week, and will end the following monday at midnight ET. meaning, this week the contest starts today, october 22th and ends on tuesday, october 27th at midnight ET. capiche?

now start wordsmithing.

Serendipity – According to wikipedia – Serendipity is the effect by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something entirely unrelated.

I add..” and writes it down in this lovely recycled notebook”

Lovely concept. My first time at your blog. Love your Etsy store.

supercalifragilisticexpialidocious: According to the 1964 Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins, it is defined as “something to say when you have nothing to say”.

And what’s more meditative than writing down your thoughts and reflecting on them at a later time?

I would buy one that said “snark” but I already bought f-bomb and wtf so that’s not much of a surprise.

avoiding collapsion
the latter is a made up word, obviously, that we used originally to describe the physical collapse of something, like blocks. eventually we started using it metaphorically to describe that feeling where it seems everything is falling down around you.
