I agree with Rose My family is from a small tow in WPA (Industry) and they say redd up all the time haha but I also love how people pronounce giant eagle in PA too!

BTW- You can ask others for preferred spellings, but I seem to remember the spelling Pixburg over Picksburg unless describing a Stillers game in which there were a lot of interceptions.

Am totally thinking about doing this on a local level (by just passing some notebooks/moleskines around with the return address in them) – I’d love to know more about the people in my own city + this is a great way to see what makes people move. Both of you participate. Or start your own in the ‘Burgh. (Fmrly of Beechview myself.)

I stumbled across your blog looking for vintage color schemes to inspire me on a project. The colors of these books (and the books themselves) are beautiful! The colors work so well together in the photograph…very lovely.
