Bragadocious Giveaway
yep. that’s right. this is one bragadociously good giveaway. one that i am really actually kind of upset about. because, i have to let someone besides me win…it’s that good.
you’re probably thinking that i say that about most of the giveaways on here. and while that might be true. this really is pretty darn amazing. for two reasons:
1. i absolutely love love love books. this is a known fact. and shouldn’t be a big surprise to any of you.
2. i love toile fabric. all of it. and this book is made with a stunning black and white toile. makes me want to have kids now, so that i can use the book. [better hope the hubster doesn't see this!]
now that we have that cleared up, let’s get on to the giveaway. shall we?
this stunning little brag book comes from the talented hands of diane falvey, the fantabulous creator behind iris & lily.
the album holds 100 4×6 photos and is 5×7. the book is handmade with Central Park Toile and coordinating gingham fabric. it can be personalized with names, dates, or a special sentiment.
you also get to choose what color you want. available colors are: black (shown), pink, blue or sage green
all albums come with a removable organza bow.
and yes, even in this day and age of digital pictures, you still need to have a cute book. why? because you can’t bring your personal computer with you everywhere. and the book is just so much cuter. [you know i'm right.]
i loved talking to diane about these little books. it’s always fun to talk to a fellow bookbinder. when i asked how she got started, diane had this to say:
I’ve been bookbinding and selling my albums and journals online since 2002, on eBay, my website, and now also on Esty! I love working with customers, coming up with unique ways to showcase favorite photos and working with fabrics.
i also asked where her shop name came from:
I often get asked about the name of my company, Iris & Lily. I wanted something feminine and strong, and I can’t think of hardier, yet more delicate blooms.
finally, i asked about her inspiration for these gorgeous books:
I’m inspired by fabrics and photographs and enjoy creating the perfect keepsake for each customer.
