zen

it’s officially time for a new week of wordsmithing. it’s also time to announce the winner of last week’s effort. and i have to say, i’m totally impressed by the responses. and feeling very inspired by your creativity. so thank you!

this winning entry of zen [see above] came from colin, aka @soulsurferpdx. thanks colin!

now that we have that out of the way, it’s time for this weeks contest. so…get your word on! and just in case you have no idea what i’m talking about. here is more info about the little contest:

what exactly is wordsmith wednesdays, you ask? it’s a chance for you to come up with a word that will, in turn, be put on to a loverly little recycled notebook.

what’s in it for you? the chance to be clever, snarky, witty, thoughtful, sweet, or funny. and if your word gets picked for the week, i will send you you’re very own copy. for free. as in, i’m giving it away.

there are no other rules. no other limitations. it could be holiday related, or not. it could be one word, or many. it could be made up, or real. it’s really up to you. and if you need some ideas to get you started, you can check out my flickr page or etsy shop.

the contest begins on wednesday of every week, and will end the following tuesday at midnight ET. meaning, this week the contest starts today, october 28th and ends on tuesday, november 3rd at midnight ET. capiche?

oh, and in case you are an overachiever and have more than one word or idea, why not submit them all? you can enter as many times as you like, with as many words as you like. the more the merrier…er…verbose, it will be.

have fun!
