31 Things: Berry Picking!

i’m pretty excited to be able to check off another item on my 31 Things list this weekend. i know. it’s been a while since i’ve been able to say that. maybe that’s why it felt so good!
i went out to soergel’s orchard over the weekend with friends. apparently, we missed strawberry season by about two weeks (doh!). no matter, we were able to pick some amazing blueberries. and a few raspberries to boot. kind of looking forward to going back in a few weeks for blackberry picking!
all in all, great experience. it was really cool to see how blueberries grow. and to be able to eat them straight off the bush. yes. i am a total city girl.
